The Balanced You Project came from a woman, stuck in survival mode and quite honestly, drowning in her own life. That same woman today, actually does have her shit together for the first time in over 10 years. Her laundry pile is minimal, she has a well-organised freezer, her hair is always brushed and the floors are always clean.
And it didn't take a miracle or a brain transplant.

Where did The Balanced You Project come from?
I've come to notice that, in recent years, so much well-being advice is based largely around "go easy on yourself" and "be kind to yourself".
However, it's not kind to yourself to live in a constant state of anxiety because the jobs are piling up and you feel ashamed. What IS kind, is to address it, and slowly move towards a life that's more organised. Survival mode is a vicious cycle, the more you struggle, the worse it gets.
